CCRI Webinar

New funding opportunities for circular economy under Horizon Europe

On 6 December, the European Commission adopted the new Horizon Europe Work Programme 2023-2024. There are significant funding opportunities for circular economy related research and innovation projects under Cluster 4, ‘Digital, Industry and Space’, and Cluster 6, ‘Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment’.

Cluster 6 is particularly relevant for CCRI stakeholders as it covers integrated circular solutions at territorial and sectoral levels for important material flows and product value chains. These include textiles, electronics, chemicals, packaging, tourism, plastics and construction as well as key bioeconomy sectors.

The 2023 Cluster 6 circular economy calls for proposals will open on 22 December 2022 and will close on 28 March 2023. More information is available on the Funding and Tenders Portal.

Join the CCRI webinar on 15 December!

The second CCRI Webinar will take place on Thursday 15 December at 10:00‒12:00 CET. This webinar will focus on new Horizon Europe calls for proposals on local and regional-scale circular economy. It is primarily aimed at local and regional authorities and project promoters.

The online event will present these new calls and provide information on how local and regional authorities as well as other members of the CCRI community can apply. Participants will also have the chance to interact, ask questions and provide constructive feedback. You can find more details in the agenda.
