Horizon Europe

Horizon Europe is the EU’s key funding programme for research and innovation.

It tackles climate change, helps to achieve the UN Sustainable Development Goals and boosts the EU’s competitiveness and growth. Under it Pillar II, Horizon Europe is divided in 6 clusters:

1. Health
2. Culture, Creativity and Inclusive Society
3. Civil Security for Society
4. Digital, Industry and Space
5. Climate, Energy and Mobility
6. Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture and Environment

Horizon Europe introduced sets of measures to achieve bold, inspirational and measurable goals within a set timeframe: the Missions. Five mission areas have been identified, each with a dedicated mission board and assembly.
