Promote the development of measures in agro-silvo-pastoral systems that contribute to a greater adaptation of systems to new climate patterns.

Water retention structures are often used as rainwater management and control structures, mainly from excessive and intense precipitation. The creation of water retention structures generally involves planning the direction of rainwater to the area of ​​the retention structure. These structures should be sized to receive rainwater, however, many of these water retention structures are integrated with natural solutions (using adequate vegetation to give more stability to the system and promote natural habitats). Thus, alongside the functions for which they are created, these structures are often also opportunities to improve the landscapes in which they are involved.

Enhancement of the natural heritage of the Castelo Rodrigo AHP, promotion of careful land occupation and fuel management around the population cluster, ensuring the maintenance of the land and an income-generating occupation of the same, also promoting the enhancement and diversification of the tourist offer.
