Focusing on Green Deal implementation, from mitigation to adaptation, the Flemish and Walloon governments organise big events under the Belgian Presidency that showcase the critical role of local and regional governments in the European Green Deal.

In pursuit of ambitious climate targets, the regional government of Galicia is leveraging its role as Covenant Coordinator to boost climate commitment among its municipalities. As a result, the region has gone from having 22 Covenant signatories in 2018 to the current 285 in just four years.
