NetZeroCities Tool Training Series: Assess and enhance your climate action plan

With NetZeroPlanner, cities can now monitor progress against defined emission targets through performance reports and scenario analysis, create roadmaps for achieving decarbonisation and use real-time data to enhance and evaluate climate strategies.  By supporting cities in evaluating the costs, benefits, and return on investment across various sectors, NetZeroPlanner enables city leaders to prioritise actions that maximise the reduction of GHG emissions and financial returns, including co-benefits. 

This tool is now available to all city users on the NetZeroCities Portal. It is open-source, free, and aims to be a dynamic part of a city’s planning process.  

NetZeroCities is hosting a Tool Training Series webinar on 17 April, 14:00-15:15 CEST to walk new city users through the main functionalities of NetZeroPlanner.

The tool assigns costs and benefits to various sectors and stakeholders and provides annual performance reports to track progress, enabling cities to make informed adjustments.
