Share best practices and success stories from your city or region in implementing the EU Green Deal

The Committee of the Regions has just launched a call for best practices from EU local and regional authorities where you can showcase the achievements of your city or region and inspire others to create thriving, healthy and sustainable communities.

Green Deal going Local CoR

The European Green Deal aims to make the continent climate-neutral by 2050 through policies and regulations that are transforming the way we live, consume, move, work, and produce energy. EU cities and regions are championing innovative solutions to combat climate change, pollution, and biodiversity crisis. By implementing and sharing best practices, local and regional authorities drive meaningful change and help shape a brighter future in our communities.

Contribute to this collective effort and submit the best practices and success stories from your city or region by filling out this form.

Your contributions will be promoted with EU institutions and stakeholders and published on the #EUGreenDeal map and social media channels, demonstrating the key role of local and regional authorities in implementing the Green Deal.

The Committee of the Regions invites local and regional governments to share their recently achieved or ongoing initiatives on:

  • Climate adaption

  • Circular economy
  • Energy matters, such as energy efficiency, energy poverty or renewable energy
  • Clean mobility
