Scalable Cities Roadshow - Peer-to-Peer Session In-Person: How to finance Energy Communities and make them viable

The central theme will explore key questions such as:  How can local governments create supportive frameworks for Energy Community projects? How can private investment and citizen participation be effectively integrated into Energy Community financing? How can collaboration between public authorities and private investors drive the success of these initiatives?

This event will bring together nine cities from across Europe that are either developing or interested in develop energy community projects. The goal is to share insights and discuss how to support or implement these projects, ensuring their economic viability through collaboration with public administration.

Local experts, financial professionals, and investors will be present to offer guidance and expertise throughout the sessions.

A budget of up to 900 euros is available to help cover travel and accommodation expenses for visiting cities.

This is a great opportunity to share knowledge and learn from each other cities!

12.00 – 13.30 Financial workshop. Split into 3 groups, with 3 cities in each group. Work with each city for half an hour to help develop and advance their energy communities project. Address doubts with the experts. GNE Finance
