Signatories

Covenant of Mayors signatories are local authorities of all sizes, democratically constituted and represented by elected officials, committed to taking action on climate and energy, whether they are just starting or are advanced in the implementation of their policies.

The commitments for Covenant signatories are linked to the EU's climate and energy policy framework, most notably, achieving climate neutrality by 2050. Covenant signatories commit to adopting an integrated approach to climate change mitigation, adaptation and energy poverty.
