Racconigi

The City of Racconigi has included in the three-year program of Public Works 2022-2024 some energy requalification. These interventions in part are already underway and in part only planned.

The primary objective of the creation of a Renewable Energy Community in the territory of the Municipality of Racconigi will be to provide environmental, economic or social benefits to the members of the community itself and more generally to the geographical context in which it operates.

In order to achieve the objectives of sustainable mobility with this action, the Municipality of Racconigi intends to promote the conversion of the vehicle fleet circulating from endothermic to electric through the construction and/or upgrading, where applicable, the charging infrastructure of electric vehicles.

Through this action the Municipality of Racconigi intends to promote both the strengthening of public transport (both on iron and road) and the modernization of vehicles with new more efficient and less impactful.

The Administration of the territory could, collaborating with the competent authorities (e.g. ARPA, Basin Authority, Piedmont Region, etc.), enhance the collection and monitoring of local climate information, so as to create a specific database of the territory on climate events, their impacts and sectors most affected.
