Key Actions
F - fer 1 busseto renewable energy community MITIGATION ENERGY POVERTY
The action is a strategic project that, starting from the construction of photovoltaic systems on public buildings, intends to stimulate the increase in local production of electricity from renewable sources. The aim is twofold:
1. Reduce energy withdrawals from grid in municipal buildings, lowering energy bills
2. Establish a municipal REC, capable of stimulating a greater local diffusion of private photovoltaic systems.
Implementation Timeframe: 2022-2050
Sector: Electricity
Implementation Cost: 538.430,00€
A - ip 1 redevelopment of public lighting and smart management MITIGATION
The action aims to complete the relamping with LED of the whole PL plant nt and to purchase certified green energy for the residual consumes, in order to set to zero CO2 emissions.
Implementation Timeframe: 2017-2026
Sector: Municipal
Implementation Cost: 1.439.562,00€
A - pub 1 net zero emission public buildings MITIGATION
The action aims to minimize the heat and electricity needs of Public Buildings aiming at decreasing dependence on natural gas and fossil fuels in general. This objective has long been pursued through the combination of 4 strategies:
1. Energy requalification of building envelopes and air conditioning systems
2. Integration of renewable sources used for the local production of energy for self-consumption
3. Compensation of electricity withdrawals from the grid through the purchase of certified renewable energy
4. Compensation of residual emissions through absorption
Implementation Timeframe: 2010-2030
Sector: Municipal
Implementation Cost: 4.424.555,45€
F - fer 3 fer 3 large scale photovoltaic plants MITIGATION ENERGY POVERTY
The action aims to establish public-private partnerships for the construction of large-scale photovoltaic plants, on disused quarries or on land already man-made. These partnerships make it possible to increase the local production of renewable energy, while at the same time relieving the administrative and management aspects of municipal offices.
Implementation Timeframe: 2010-2030
Sector: Electricity
Implementation Cost: 18.540.000,00€
Ada 1 preventive environmental compensation and new"general urban plan" (lr 24/2017) MITIGATION ADAPTATION
The action adopts the aims of the new Regional Urban Planning Law (LR 24/2017 "REGIONAL REGULATIONS ON THE PROTECTION AND USE OF THE TERRITORY") and consists in the adoption and subsequent implementation of the new territorial government instrument, "PUG", in the terms established by the same Law.
The drafting of the new PUG will be in natural continuity with the current PSC, approved by City Council Resolution No. 56 of 19/10/2017. In fact, the PSC already set the following specific objectives:
Avoid the consumption of new free land
Qualify future interventions in the area
Introduce an ecological model to support planning choices ("Preventive Ecological Compensation")
Introduce greater fle

Ada 2 urban and extraurban forestry - public & private MITIGATION ADAPTATION
By adhering to the strengthened version of the Covenant of Mayors, the Administration is multiplying its efforts towards the Net Zero Emission goal by 2050, with a particular focus on the green heritage of the territory, declined through a series of actions in mutual synergy: ADA 1 Preventive Environmental Compensation and the new PUG "General Urban Plan" (L.R. 24/2017), ADA 2 Urban and Extra-urban Forestation – Public & Private, ADA 3 Monitoring, Protection and Enhancement of Public Green Areas, ADA 4 Enhancement and protection of internal ecological connections, NEU1 Municipal plan of absorptions.
In particular, this action aims to:
promote the reforestation of urban and suburban areas th

Ada 5 hydraulic risk reduction interventions ADAPTATION
This action aims to reduce the risk associated with possible flooding or river overflowing, through interventions to secure the territory. The planning of prevention interventions, appropriately coordinated and shared between the bodies in charge, is one of the main tools for safeguarding human lives and reducing damage to human property and activities.
The strategy adopted by the Municipal Authority is characterized by the creation of a system of expansion tanks serving natural water bodies and the main irrigation canals.
Implementation Timeframe: 2007-2030
Sector: Buildings
Implementation Cost: 2.022.000,00€
Ada 6 upgrading of aqueduct networks to reduce drinking water leaks and withdrawals ADAPTATION
The action, in synergy with Actions ADA 10 Efficiency of the water cycle in the civil sector, ADA 11 Water saving/recovery and protection of water in economic activities, ADA 12 Water saving in agriculture, intends to pursue locally the provisions of the UN 2030 Agenda with the "Goal 6: Ensure the availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all", to ensure that everyone has access to clean, safe and affordable water over time.
Particular reference is made to TARGET 6.4 "Significantly increase water use efficiency in every sector by 2030 and ensure sustainable drinking water supplies and supplies, to address water scarcity and substantially reduce the number of people
Implementation Timeframe: 2020-2050
Sector: Buildings
Implementation Cost: 60.000,00€
Ada 8 improvement of separate waste collection, circular economy projects and industrial symbiosis MITIGATION ADAPTATION
With this action, the Municipal Administration promotes the ecological transition of companies, supporting the transition to a sustainable and responsible local production system.
Projects aimed at "closing local production cycles" will be designed and undertaken, consistent with the new business models of the circular economy, to reduce the exploitation of primary resources and environmental pollution, while making local industries more sustainable and resilient.
