EUCityCalc Final Conference

After 3 years, the EUCityCalc project is coming to an end. To celebrate the great results and share the lessons learned, EUCityCalc are delighted to invite you to their Final Conference on 25 and 26 June in Valencia, Spain.

25 June - Final Conference

The conference will be a great chance to learn more about the European City Calculator, the free webtool that supports cities in achieving climate neutrality and allows local authorities to make informative policy choices by visualising and simulating low-carbon scenarios based on the city's data.

In addition to the outcomes of this EU-funded project, during the event, you will be able to make a comparison with what is happening in your city by discovering the challenges that our pilot cities faced and how they overcame them. Moreover, you will have the opportunity to interact with both the developers of the webtool and the pilot cities, ask questions, and exchange experiences and knowledge.

26 June – Policy Session

Our recommendations to empower cities to dialogue with all governmental levels

In addition, the day after the EUCityCalc’s Final Conference, they will hold a 1-hour policy session to present the project’s recommendations at all governmental levels. Despite cities being at the forefront of climate mitigation efforts, they are often not adequately involved in policymaking processes related to climate action. This session aims to underscore the importance of cities making their voices heard and to share the lessons learned by our pilot cities.

This session will be part of the Energy Cities‘ Annual Conference Grafting Cities hosted in Valencia on 26-27 June. Don’t miss the opportunity to join also this relevant event, get inspired by other European cities and network with like-minded people!
