IN-PLAN is a Life project that aims to empower local and regional authorities in developing and implementing integrated energy, climate, and spatial planning in their territories. The overarching objective of IN-PLAN (Integrated Energy, Climate and Spatial Planning) is to develop, test, and roll out the IN-PLAN practice – a long-lasting support structure enabling local and regional authorities to integrate climate mitigation and adaptation aspects into spatial planning processes and other types of planning tools, such as mobility, infrastructure, and energy, to effectively implement their sustainable energy and climate vision.
On top of delivering this innovative and effective approach, IN-PLAN intends to empower local and regional governments and their agencies through a capacity-building programme, the IN-PLAN Train-the-Trainer. This training is divided into 3 online sessions, from 10 am to 12.30 pm CET, on the 21st May, 28th May, and 4th June 2024.
The sessions are open to energy, climate, and development agencies that want to support their territory in implementing integrated energy, climate, and spatial planning and that are looking for practical tools and best practices to start their planning process.
After the sessions, participants receive a Digital Badge credential and become an official IN-PLAN Multiplier, meaning that they will be able to help their local and regional authorities in adopting the IN-PLAN Practice and changing their ways towards Integrated Spatial Planning.
