Webinar: Delivering the energy performance of buildings directive at local level

The revised Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) brings both new opportunities and responsibilities. Public and private sector need to join forces to deliver on the ambitious EU objectives of achieve a zero-emission building stock by 2050, and make houses, public buildings and workplaces better for the people and the planet.  

This webinar, co-organised by Covenant of Mayors Europe and Efficient Buildings Europe, will explore how cities can actively shape and implement the EPBD, from national renovation plans to minimum energy performance standards. 
Participants will delve into key areas such as decarbonisation strategies, financing mechanisms, and enabling frameworks, while highlighting the crucial role of cities in enforcing and supporting building renovation. First hands experience will enrich the discussion with their insights from different EU context.
