Building a solar photovoltaic station with a capacity of 280 kWp to cover energy consumption for water pumps (artesian wells) and the street lighting system

Installation of solar PV stations with total capacity of 4 MW in different forms of financing and ownership: public, public-private, private.

Project "An Environmentally Friendly Commune" - Organizing the waste management system (in progress). Within the project, the Mayoralty aims to actively involve the population in the responsible management of waste, thereby reducing the negative impact on the environment and improving the quality of life in Chetrosu commune. The project aims to reduce the amount of waste in unauthorized dumps, encourage recycling and waste recovery, thus contributing to the protection of natural resources and the enhancement of quality of life. Project includes procurement of trashbins for separate waste collection and establishment of partnership with local recycling company ”ABS Recycling”

Overall objective: Prevent flooding of residential areas of Todiresti village resulting from poor rainwater drainage system. Specific objectives: -Elaborate project design and improving around 700 m of the rainwater canal system using and demonstrating new technologies and materials (as geosynthetic cementitious composite mat - GCCM, f.e. Concrete Canvas®), -Elaborate project design and construct rainwater drainage system that will direct rainwater from the streets to the channel; -Elaborate project design and construct storage for excess of water as part of mentioned rainwater canal system, to collect rainwater for watering -Create a recreation area -Promote rainwater harvesting

Planting forests and protective strips around agricultural fields, ponds, and streams – 388 ha

Extension of the street lighting network by another 18.0 km and installation of an intelligent lighting system No energy savings will occure, security and sustainability of the commune will increase

Thermal rehabilitation of the "Gr. Vieru" Gymnasium in Chetrosu village: thermal insulation of the walls (1799 m²), ceiling (1583 m²), floors (45 m²), installation of a ventilation system with heat recovery (24 units), repair and modernization of natural gas boilers
