Within the framework of two projects, namely the European project "The first step for the transition to the use of renewable energy sources in Novovolynsk" and the socio-economic development project of Ukraine "Reconstruction of heat supply in the South-Eastern district of Novovolynsk" in 2015, 1300 m. heating network and the reconstruction of the heating network was carried out to replace existing pipelines with pipelines using pre-insulated pipes (PIP) with a length of 822 linear meters.

In 2017, the administrative and amenity premises of CE Novovolynskvodokanal were disconnected from the district heating network and transferred to heating from renewable energy sources, in particular, the existing heat generator was reconstructed with the installation of a NIBE brand F-1345-60 heat pump of the “water- with a power of 60 kW.

The modernization of the street lighting system provides: • replacement of all existing lamps on streets, roads and parks with new energy-efficient LEDs with a dimming function, lower power and improved light output in the amount of 3,889 units. ; • modernization of all old SHUVO (street lighting control cabinet); • replacement of all existing non-insulated power lines with new 82.75 km long SIPs; • replacement of emergency supports and supports that are in an unsatisfactory condition with restoration of protective grounding circuits
