Installation of pv systems on the rooftops of family houses MITIGATION

This measure proposes the installation of small PV plants (from 3 up to 5 kW) on the rooftops of family houses in order to increase RES usage in the city and thus making city electricity independent city by 2050.

Agglomeration ADAPTATION

Upgrading of the wastewater treatment plant, construction of new and reconstruction of existing sewage system, separation of rainwater and sewage, expansion and reconstruction of the existing water supply system.

Conversion a part of land along watercourses into retentions ADAPTATION

The aim of the measure is to convert unused land into retentions which, in case of heavy rains or rising water levels in watercourses, will accept excess water and prevent flooding of buildings in the city area. Arrange the surrounding area for recreation of citizens (running tracks, bike paths, children's playgrounds, etc.).

It is necessary to integrate the concept of green infrastructure into spatial planning processes and policies and other strategic documents. It is recommended that when amending documents such as spatial and urban plans, special attention is paid to green infrastructure as an element in the organization of space.

Energy renovation of building sector MITIGATION ADAPTATION ENERGY POVERTY

The measure includes the reconstruction of the thermal insulation of the building's envelope and the repair of the roof and carpentry, as well as the replacement of the heating system. This measure primarily applies to buildings that have large energy losses caused by poor thermal insulation and inefficient heating systems.

Denivelation of the intersection between the state road d22 and the railway m201 in krizevci MITIGATION

After the opening of the D10 highway, the strategic connection of Krizevci with Zagreb, the traffic in the southern part of the city has multiplied. Due to the very busy level crossing (passenger and freight traffic) located on that side of the city, traffic jams are frequent. In order to relieve road traffic and prevent traffic jams, in 2020 the construction of an overpass above the railway will begin. This reduces standby time, engine idling and CO2 emissions, especially in the morning and afternoon.
