Worms

The energy caravan is a project for renovating, which was created in Viernheim and is carried out by the Energy Efficiency Initiative and the Metropol-Region Rhine-Neckar. The measure is the implementation of climate protection and energy efficiency concept of the city.

At the initiative of the city of Worms eleven companies from Worms and the surrounding environment have come together to the energy efficiency the table Worms. The project ist participated by the Model Hohenlohe in 2010. The Worms network is one of 30 nationwide pilot networks, which is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and carried out by the LEEN standard. The external support in operations carried out by department at the Environmental Campus Birkenfeld Institute for Applied Material Flow Management (IfaS), the project process and the outcomes will be evaluated by the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI.
