Kamyanets-Podilsky

With the support from the Association “Energy Efficient Cities of Ukraine”, the city took part in the EC funded project “MODEL-CIUDAD” with the European Association of Municipalities “Energy-Cité”. Kamyanets-Podilskiy became one of three cities of Ukraine, which will receive funding for thermomodernization of one budget building. In December 2009 was approved the list of works to be carried out for thermal modernization of the secondary school #16.

There are a need to transfer few houses in Centralna Str., to individual heating. The reason is: low efficiency of centralized heating services? high loses in pipes, etc.

The city is a popular touristic center. A lot of tourists (as well as local citizens) use bikes. The measure will increase bike using and availability of such transportation.
