IN-PLAN Train-the-Trainer Live in Vienna

  • Conferences and summits

Join on 2nd and 3rd October 2025 in Vienna, Austria, for a unique in-person training experience taking place in the framework of the YES-Europe Conference. This is the first time the IN-PLAN training will be held face-to-face, offering participants the chance to connect, collaborate, and learn in an engaging and dynamic setting.

Why Attend?

Building on the success of our past capacity-building sessions, this Train-the-Trainer edition will equip participants with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to support local and regional authorities in integrating energy and climate planning into spatial planning processes.

Whether you’re a local energy expert, urban planner, or policy advisor, this training is designed to amplify your impact.

Why is this training important?

In today’s world, the need for integrated spatial planning is more urgent than ever. As urban areas grow and the effects of climate change accelerate, planning must be comprehensive, inclusive, and forward-thinking.

The IN-PLAN programme equips participants to meet these challenges by teaching how to develop sustainable and resilient spatial plans. You’ll gain both theoretical insights and participate in hands-on activities designed to apply these concepts to real-world situations.

You’ll also get the chance to explore the IN-PLAN Practice, our digital guidebook that supports the implementation of local and regional sustainable energy and climate actions.

Participants selected for the training will be eligible for travel and accommodation reimbursement of up to 500 EUR per person. Please note that special conditions apply, and the reimbursement procedure will be communicated in detail to selected participants.
